Eighteen quilts arrived just a week ago, beautifully pieced and expertly quilted. I did my best job in attaching the bindings that were provided and considered it, an honor to add to these quilts. The gorgeous piecing and top assembly was done by Mary Jane Morrison. When Mary Jane passed away, her friend, Susan Seward of Colorado, assembled many quilts and did an expert job of quilting them. What a friend! 18 were donated to QBB and will reach their destination for children of widows in Burundi, Africa in July 2012.

Karen, Susan also brought us 7 at Houston which Mary Jane had pieced and she had quilted. How wonderful that Mary Jane had made so many tops, and that Sue has quilted them! And how honored and lucky we are to be chosen to receive them and provide them to the children! These are all really beautiful!
