It is fun seeing the tops finished

Suzie did a wonderful job quilting these tops.  She volunteered to do the quilting because she wanted to help the children.  And, it is all about the children as you can seen on the previous post showing the orphans in Thailand getting their quilts.  It is a bonus that we all get to do something that we love to do – make quilts.  I see all these tops come in as simple tops, or some of them I make.  And, when they come back, they are something greater.  A top can be beautiful all on its own, but once it is quilted, its beauty is enhanced.  And, Suzie definitely enhanced these with her quilting.  I also love seeing these finished quilts when they are a collaboration.  These tops were pieced by me, but for several of them, Ida Gaglio provided the fabric precut, then Suzie quilted them and other volunteers will hand carry them to the children.  Thank you, Suzie and Ida, for helping out.
