Tops from an International Long-Time Supporter

My hat is off to Hong Ying-Chang.  Hong lives in Adelaide, Australia and has sent us 4 beautiful tops.  In the US, we thinking shipping costs from one state to another is expensive.  You can imagine that the cost to ship from Australia to the US is very expensive.  And, this is the second shipment this year that we have received from Hong.  I always love opening the packages from Hong because she is a master at putting different fabrics together fabrics and creating a very pleasing combination.  Every top from her is just adorable.  These are no exception.

This past year at International Quilt Festival, Hong spent some of her show time helping us in the QBB booth.  She also agreed to take some of the donation fabric home with her to make tops.  The first top is made with fabric from Timeless Treasures.  The next two are made with fabric from Andover Fabrics.  The last one, (orange borders one) is made with Hong’s scraps.

Thank you very much, Hong, for the beautiful tops for the children, and for going the extra mile to ship them to us all the way from Australia.
