Wonder from Down Under Made by the Loose Threads

Last year Australian Quilter, Helen Southeren of Flying Needles Machine Quilting attended the International Quilt Festival and stopped by the Quilts Beyond Borders booth in the Exhibit area of the show. She was excited to participate in our cause, and she returned home with plans to make a quilt for a needy child. Helen’s enthusiasm was contagious, and she enlisted her daughter Jessica, and friends Linda Ferguson and Sally Silbley, known  collectively as “The Loose Threads Quilters”, to make this adorable quilt.

This cheery quilt is quilted with child-sized hand-prints, using variegated thread. I know the child who receives it will treasure it. Thank you, Helen, Jessica, Linda and Sally!
