From the Northwest and Beyond – Final 2017 Refugee Quilts Sent and Received

kerak 1

Pictured below are the final 57 quilts sent on the October container ship for refugee children. They safely arrived and were distributed to the children in Jordan and Syria.

Thanks to everyone for the beautiful quilts! I am grateful for your help and support in providing quilts to the Syrian children. The reports back are that the children and parents love them and appreciate your generosity. Click on the pictures to see who made and quilted them (There were 3 quilts included that were missing labels and if any of them are yours let me know).

We also have pictures below from the distrubution to children in Kerak Jordan. Rita Zawaideh from the Salaam Cultural Museum who coordinated in-person delivery, tells us, ‘The children and parents loved the quilts! Thank you all for the beautiful quilts donated in 2017!’
