The Fat Quarter Challenge is our monthly contest sponsored by the Fat Quarter Shop ( https://www.fatquartershop. com/ ) which encourages volunteers to make and donate quilts using a fat quarter. You may supply your own FQ and submit a finished quilt to us, just include a note with your quilt that it is part of the Fat Quarter Challenge. You can also use a fat quarter supplied from our booth if you attended the Houston Quilt Festival. You can use your own pattern for the FQC quilt, or check out Marcia Hohn’s site, Quilt Blocks Galore via this URL: Quilt Blocks Galore!
This Challenge repeats yearly, beginning in November and running through the following September (Any FQC quilts received at the annual fall Quilt show in Houston will go to the next year’s contest); and the sooner you turn in a completed quilt, the more chances you have to win the monthly $25 drawing or the year-end $100 cash prize. Each FQC quilter will be eligible for every monthly drawing through October and you may win more than once. When you are ready to send in a quilt, you can send it to our FQC coordinator directly:
LaDonna Helveston / 125 Wisteria Place / West Point, MS 39773
